Dublin Rallies Past Bakersfield 8-7

June 20 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns rallied late to defeat the Bakersfield Train Robbers 8-7. Dublin outhit Bakersfield 14-10 and overcame a 7-5 deficit by scoring three runs in the ninth inning. Bakersfield committed three errors while Dublin made two.

Bakersfield built an early 3-1 lead through two innings and added two runs in both the fifth and sixth to move ahead 7-2. Dublin answered with a run in the seventh before its three-run ninth-inning surge completed the comeback.

JC Javier led Dublin with three hits in five at-bats three runs and one RBI. Drew Bayard also collected three hits while Victor Ceniceros and DJ Aceron Jr. had two hits apiece with one RBI each. Abraham De La Cruz drove in two runs, and Dublin finished with six total RBIs.

Tyler McKenna paced Bakersfield with three hits and two RBIs. Ryan Anderson reached base four times with one hit and three walks and scored twice, while Jared Gay had two hits and scored twice. Joe Riddle added a hit and an RBI.

Dante Hatchett earned the win for Dublin after allowing two hits and no runs over 3.2 innings with four strikeouts and two walks. Connor Caporale allowed eight hits and seven runs over 5.1 innings, and Jared Gay took the loss after surrendering four hits and three runs in two-thirds of an inning.
