Bakersfield Train Robbers Rally Past San Rafael 7-4

July 18 2025 The Bakersfield Train Robbers scored five runs in the fourth inning and held on for a 7-4 victory over the San Rafael Pacifics. Bakersfield finished with seven hits and one error while San Rafael collected 13 hits but committed four errors.

Jared Gay led the Train Robbers by going 2-for-4 with three runs scored an RBI and a home run. Emilio Luna added an RBI and Art Joven contributed a hit and two RBIs. Bakersfield also scored once in the first inning and added a run in the fifth to build its winning total.

Joven earned the win after allowing four runs on 12 hits in 6.1 innings with two walks and six strikeouts. Jayden Metz worked 0.2 scoreless innings before Jack Martin recorded the save with two innings of one-hit relief and four strikeouts. San Rafaels Kyle Guerra went 4-for-5 with a run while Mark Hernandez drove in two runs but Alex Valasek took the loss despite striking out nine in seven innings.
