Dublin Leprechauns Rally Past Bakersfield Train Robbers 15-9

July 30 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Bakersfield Train Robbers 15-9 in the first round of the championship. Dublin collected 20 hits and broke open a close game with eight runs in the eighth inning after scoring four in the third two in the fourth and one in the sixth. Bakersfield scored once in the first four times in the fourth and twice in each of the fifth and sixth innings but was held scoreless over the final three frames.

C. Richter led Dublin with four hits four RBI and one run, while D. Hale went 3-for-5 and scored twice. S. Ott scored four runs and reached base three times with two hits and three walks. D. Leek and A. De La Cruz each added three hits, and C. Bogue delivered two RBI in a reserve role. Dublin's 20-hit attack included five doubles.

Makana Fo earned the win after pitching a scoreless seventh inning with one strikeout, and J. Rivera followed with two scoreless innings to close out the victory. Dublin starter N. Camacho allowed five runs on five hits in four innings, while B. Moreno worked two innings and allowed four runs. Bakersfield starter N. Danbrowney struck out seven over six innings but allowed seven runs on 12 hits. J. Gay and N. Danbrowney hit home runs for Bakersfield, which finished with 11 hits.
